About these figures

This page covers property tax paid to the City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia specifically. It does not include county or state property taxes paid by Rock City, which would be paid to Walker County and to the State of Georgia respectively.

Rock City also owns additional parcels in Walker County that are outside the City of Lookout Mountain, Georgia city limits. Those parcels do not generate property tax revenue for the City, though they may generate revenue for Walker County.

What this page does not show

Other business taxes paid by any specific business are not public under Georgia law. That includes sales tax, alcohol excise tax, business license tax, and similar per-business taxes.
